Account Deletion
Cancellation vs. deletion
- Cancellation controls billing renewal and access timeline through the current paid period.
- Deletion is a separate, explicit user request to erase account data across storage and database systems.
- Deletion does not require waiting for cancellation; you can request deletion directly.
How to request deletion
- Sign in to your TripNoted account.
- Open account settings and submit the account deletion request flow.
- If you need help completing the in-app flow, email [email protected] or [email protected].
Signed-in deletion requests execute immediately with a target completion window of 24 hours.
What is deleted
Account deletion is intended to remove user-scoped trip content, connected account records, and related storage objects, including inbound email artifacts and debug-log objects tied to your user.
What is retained and why
After deletion, TripNoted retains only minimal identity fields in an archived record for billing and legal compliance purposes (for example, user id, email, and deletion timestamps). No travel content or OAuth token material is retained in that archived record.
This minimal retention may continue for up to 7 years to satisfy accounting and legal obligations.
Disconnect Google access
You can disconnect TripNoted's Google access at any time at Google Account permissions.
